Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Great Bend, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The City of Great Bend is considering using pipeline pigging to evaluate the condition of an existing sanitary sewer force main by removing accumulated debris, sediment, and potential obstructions that may restrict flow or cause operational inefficiencies. A smart pig inspection may be conducted, at the Owner's discretion, following the preliminary cleaning runs to provide a detailed evaluation of the force main. Proposals are requested to perform cleaning pig runs, with a bid alternate for completing a smart pig inspection. The force main is approximately 10,300 linear feet in length. If the bid alternate is selected, a Smart Pig Assessment Report detailing the findings of the pipeline evaluation will be required.
