The work to be done consists of mobilization; preparatory work; securing the work area for public safety; daily site cleanup; water pollution control program; clearing and grubbing; earthwork grading; concrete work; carpentry; roofing installation and upgrades; cabin deck demolition and installation; replacement of bathroom fixtures; plumbing upgrades; and all other work shown on the Plans, in the Project Manual, Special Conditions, Technical Provisions, and as shown on the Plans. The project must be fully completed within 30 working days from the start date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Bidders are required to hold a valid California contractor's license for Class "B" (General Building Contractor), Class "C-5" (Framing and Rough Carpentry Contractor), Class "C-36" (Plumbing Contractor), or Class "C-39" (Roofing Contractor). Proof of registration with the California Department of Industrial Relations is required. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of ten percent of the maximum bid. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the Contract Price. Each subcontractor must be registered with the DIR. Bidders must submit a completed Subcontractor List form with their proposal. All bidders should carefully review the Instructions to Bidders.
