Quotes are solicited for HVAC Filter Procurement. Quotes must be submitted to the Assistant Director of Facilities Management by the specified deadline. Submission may be made in person, by mail, by fax, by email, or other means. Any questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted in writing by the specified question deadline and will be answered by addendum. In accordance with the Purchasing Manual, staff may purchase goods and services less than thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) by obtaining quotes from three or more vendors. Although cost is an important factor, staff may accept any quote, and are not required to accept the lowest cost. Only quotes actually received by the submission deadline will be reviewed, and the risk of loss in transmission is on the vendor. Vendors are encouraged to verify receipt of their quote. Payment of prevailing wage by all contractors and subcontractors is required. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all quotes and to waive any formalities in the procedures. The contract award decision by staff will be final.
