Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Mackenzie, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Parsnip West FSR is accessed from the Town of Mackenzie and runs through Heather-Dina Lakes Provincial Park. The previous culvert and existing bridge crosses Dina Creek at 29.6 km and has been impacted by beaver activities and a recent washout event. The existing temporary structure will be removed and replaced with a longer 15 m single lane concrete slab bridge founded on concrete footings and steel pipes.
