The State of Colorado, Department of Corrections is seeking submittals of qualifications from firms to provide Architectural and Engineering Professional Services for the Electronic Security System Replacement at the Colorado State Penitentiary. The project involves preparing construction documents to replace the original electronic security system and to update the door control and intercom systems to current standards. The design will follow a Design/Bid/Build approach and requires providing services as described in the standard Architect/Engineer/Consultant contract. The goal is to address mission-critical security control and monitoring systems that are currently difficult to operate, function, and maintain.
