SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF BOILER; VALLEYVIEW MIDDLE SCHOOL Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and delivered to the Office of the School Business Administrator of the Denville Township Board of Education. The envelope must bear the title of the project, the bid number, the name and address of the bidder, and the bid opening date and time. No bids shall be received after the designated time. The Board of Education does not accept electronic submissions of bids. A pre-bid meeting will be held at Valleyview Middle School. Attendance is not mandatory, but all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Bidders must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. Bidders must submit a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all persons and entities that own ten percent or more of its stock or interest at all levels of ownership. A bidder on a public works project where the cost of the work exceeds $20,000.00 must first be qualified by the Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, and submit with the bid a Prequalification AffidavitNo Material Adverse Change, a copy of a valid and active NOTICE OF CLASSIFICATION, a certified copy of a Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts Form, and an affidavit regarding any material adverse changes. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashiers check, or certified check made payable to the Denville Township Board of Education for ten percent of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000.00. All required bid documents must be completed and submitted. Failure to comply with instructions and to submit all required forms may result in rejection of the bid. All contractors named in the bid must possess a valid and current New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development Public Works Contractors Registration Certificate at the time the Board receives the bid. The Board reserves the right to reject any non-responsive bids or all bids and to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions. Every request for such interpretations should be made in writing to the School Business Administrator and/or the Architect/Engineer of Record . When applicable, it must be received at least ten ( 10 ) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids to be given consideration, not including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
