CR#: 2136773 The Village of Kinderhook is engaged in a NY Forward project funded under grant contract C1003024 with New York State Department of State (DOS) to refurbish and restore historic metal lighting poles within the Village Square. This work shall be coordinated by our municipal Departmetn of Public Works (DPW) staff working in conjunction with the vendor selected to perform this work. Scope of Work: Request for Quote (RFQ) - Specialized Lighting Poles Metal Restoration Services 1. Provide technical assistance during take down of lighting poles and provide for transport of lighting poles to the restoration site. 2. Disassemble lamps from lighting poles and acquire new parts and replacement bulb sockets and frosted glass. UL rated parts required. 3. Transport metal lighting poles to subcontractor for sand blasting and painting. 4. Subcontractor to perform sand blasting and painting. 5. Transport metal lighting poles from sand blasting and painting subcontractor back to restoration site. 6. Assemble lamps with acquired new parts and replacement bulb sockets and frosted glass. 7. Repair and/or replace damaged metal work 8. Replace missing parts 9. Replace glass 10. Perform testing at the restoration site to verify the operation of the refurbished and restored lamps. Village of Kinderhook staff to be present during these tests. 11. Transport metal lighting poles back to the Village Square and provide technical assistance to the Kinderhook DPW during the installation of the lighting poles back into service.
