The north half mile of the existing street is a two lane approximately 24' wide without curb and gutter, with ditches on both sides of the street. The south half mile is 24' to 36' wide with curb and gutter on the east side adjacent to the high school and a ditch on the west. The street has a centerline and edge pavement markings. The proposed improvements include mill and overlay with spot curb and asphalt base repairs as necessary, ditch grading and restoration, and restoration of pavement markings.The area along 207th Street has multiple proposed developments which will include housing and commercial projects. These projects may include contributions to the street improvements from the developer as well as special benefit districts to fund the needed improvements for the increased traffic in the area. The project is included in the City 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
