Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in St Petersburg, Florida. Working plans call for the construction of a 3,600-unit multi-residential development; 800-room hospitality development; 5,000-seat museum; office development; for site work for a 15-acre playground / park / athletic field; and retail development.
Blake Investment Partners and Related Group have been selected by the City of St. Petersburg to redevelop 58 acres within the Historic Gas Plant District into an $8.1 billion mixed-use development. The project, known as The Burg Bid, will include housing, hotels, office, retail, parks, museums, workforce training facilities and entertainment venues delivered across three phases over 15 to 20 years. The development team includes Wannemacher Jensen Architects, Zyscovich (Stratus), Skanska, Gilbane, KAST Construction and Greystar, with Driftwood Hospitality and other partners contributing to various components.
