Kitchen surveillance cameras installation and upgrade services are required to enhance coverage of the Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) Kitchen and Canteen services. The work includes providing and installing six interior cameras consisting of Axis P3287-LVE fixed cameras, Axis P3737-PLE panoramic 360 cameras, and an Axis P4707-PLVE dual lens panoramic camera, along with approximately 1,800 feet of shielded Cat6 cabling and associated infrastructure. The contractor shall furnish all necessary equipment, installation, termination, aiming, focusing, licensing, electrical rough-in, mounting hardware, seismic support, and pathway creation from camera locations to the nearest IT room. All systems must be compatible with LenelS2 and Milestone Video Management Systems, and all installations must be coordinated with the Office of Information Technology as directed. The scope includes installation, repair, cleaning, and maintenance of security equipment under VA Police oversight. Work will primarily occur during standard business hours, with possible after-hours or weekend scheduling to minimise disruption to healthcare operations. The contractor must comply with applicable national codes and industry standards including NEC, BICSI, EIA/TIA, ADA, NFPA, UL, and other relevant telecommunications and safety requirements. A site-specific safety plan, OSHA-certified personnel, and coordination for outages, permits, and inspections are required. All completed work will be inspected and tested for operational performance, including camera positioning and functionality, before acceptance.
