Reference Number 0000430183 General Requirements - Insurance Required The Town of De Beque, Colorado, is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified engineering firms to provide professional municipal engineering services as the Town Engineer. The Town of De Beque is a rural Western Colorado community committed to responsible growth, sound infrastructure planning, and excellent public service. The Town is seeking a qualified engineering partner who can provide practical, responsive, and collaborative professional services while serving as a trusted advisor to the Board of Trustees, Town staff, Planning Commission, developers, regulatory agencies, utility providers, and the public. The selected consultant will serve as the Town's primary engineering advisor and will assist the Town with municipal engineering, development review, utility and infrastructure planning, capital improvement projects, regulatory compliance, grant and funding assistance, construction administration, and long-range infrastructure planning. The consultant will work closely with Town staff to provide timely technical guidance that supports informed decision-making and sustainable community growth. Services will be provided on an as-needed basis under a Professional Services Agreement. The Town anticipates entering into an initial three-year agreement with the selected firm, with the option for annual renewals upon mutual agreement and satisfactory performance. The Town encourages Statements of Qualifications from firms with demonstrated experience serving Colorado municipalities, particularly rural communities, and with the staffing resources necessary to provide responsive, high-quality municipal engineering services.
