Renovation of a mixed-use development in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Notice ID - 528-26-3-8893-0611 The Albany Stratton VAMC located at 113 Holland Ave Albany, NY 12208 requires furnishing and installation of an impact-attenuating, ligature-resistant padded flooring system in two seclusion rooms (Rooms B1007A and B1007B) within a secure inpatient mental health (lockdown) unit. The flooring must be suitable for high-abuse, self-harm risk behavioral health environments and comply with applicable VA and behavioral health design guidance referencing VHA directive 1167 for seclusion spaces. Work consists of providing padded flooring and installation, including furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to install the flooring system. Installation shall ensure proper fit, alignment, and secure placement to meet safety and performance requirements. This requirement is not considered construction unless subfloor modifications are required, in which case any necessary adjustments to the subfloor shall be performed to support proper installation of the padded flooring system.
