Sealed bids will be received by the City of Demorest Downtown Development Authority (OWNER) for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for the construction of the Demorest City Hall Parking Lot in Demorest, Georgia. Time of completion for all work associated with this project shall be one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days from the date of a written Notice to Proceed from OWNER. Liquidated Damages: In the event the Contractor fails to achieve Substantial Completion within the Contract Time, the Contractor shall pay the OWNER liquidated damages in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per consecutive calendar day until Substantial Completion is achieved. No early-completion incentive is offered. Responses will be issued by written Addendum to all known plan holders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Insurance, Workman's Compensation Insurance, and Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. OWNER reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids.
