Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Lodi, New Jersey. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

This contract will address deficiencies of the Rt. 80 WB structures within the Project limits, the major structure scope includes the superstructure replacement of Rt. 80 over GSP, Midland Ave, and NJ Transit (Str.# 0225-159) and the full replacement of Rt. 80 over Market St, Main St, Fairview Ave, and Saddle River (Str.# 0225-156). This Project will also reconstruct Rt. 80 WB pavement including certain ramps as well. This project is a breakout of "Route 80, Riverview Drive (CR 640) to Polify Road (CR 55 COUNTY: Bergen MUNICIPALITY: Elmwood Park Boro, Lodi Boro, Saddle Brook Twp MILEPOSTS: 61.64 - 63.82 As of July 11, 2026, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Year is 2033. NJDOT - Route 80, Riverview Drive (CR 640) to Polifly Road (CR 55), Contract 5 *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability. The project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as become available.
