Renovation of a municipal facility in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Removal of existing roofing system, replacement of deteriorated roof decking, installation of 1-inch polyisocyanurate (ISO) insulation board, 60-mil TPO roofing membrane, finish/termination bars, and drip edge. 1. Demolition Remove and dispose of the existing roofing system down to the roof deck. Remove all associated roofing materials necessary for replacement. Protect the building from weather during construction. Dispose of all debris in accordance with applicable regulations. 2. Roof Deck Inspection Inspect the existing roof decking after removal of the roofing material. Replace any rotten, deteriorated, or structurally unsound roof decking with new material of equal or greaterthickness and quality. Any decking replacement shall be included in the contractor's unit pricing or clearly identified in the bid. 3. Insulation Install new 1-inch ISO (polyisocyanurate) insulation board over the roof deck. Secure insulation in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local building codes. 4. Roofing Membrane Install new 0.060-inch (60 mil) TPO roofing membrane. Install membrane in accordance with manufacturer specifications. All seams shall be heat welded. 5. Edge Metal Install new finish/termination bars where required. Install new drip edge around the roof perimeter. Replace any damaged flashing necessary to provide a watertight installation. 6. Cleanup Remove all waste materials daily, Haul away all roofing debris., Leave the job site clean upon completion.
