Renovation of a transportation facility in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Updated July 21, 2027: Solicitation has been extended to allow additional site visits. The United States Coast Guard at Base Los Angeles/Long Beach requires a contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the renovation of two restrooms in Building 20. The scope of work includes repairing a wall section and matching existing tiles in the men's restroom, installing a 24"x36" plumbing access panel, installing one government-furnished urinal, and replacing the floor tiling, which will require temporary removal and re-installation of one toilet and its partitions. In the women's restroom, work consists of replacing the floor tiling and temporarily removing and reinstalling one toilet and its partitions. Work must be completed one restroom at a time to minimize disruption to facility operations. Contractors must adhere to all security, OSHA and EM385-1-1 safety requirements, badging requirements, and comply with the Buy American Act. This opportunity is set aside for Women-Owned Small Businesses. Award will be made using a best-value tradeoff process, with past performance considered more important than price. Interested bidders must be registered in SAM.gov to be eligible.
