The Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) is the County's affordable housing and community development agency. The LACDA helps strengthen neighborhoods, empower families, support local economies, and promote individual achievement. The LACDA maintains many administrative buildings and 68 housing developments that include over 3,229 residential units within the County of Los Angeles. The LACDA is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide Job Order Contract (JOC) construction services. A JOC is a competitively bid , firm fixed priced indefinite quantity contract pursuant to which the Contractor may perform an ongoing series of individual projects at different locations throughout the County of Los Angeles. Work Orders issued through this JOC contract may include projects in need of critical repairs or required upgrades but may not include new construction. See California Public Contract Code Section 20128.5. Such work may include but is not limited to interior and exterior repairs/upgrades, such as roofing, flooring, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, framing, drywall, painting, hardscapes, lead abatement, and other construction tasks and specifications that have established unit prices.
