VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System requires a contractor to rebuild the domestic water tanks filter piping at Building 200 of the VA Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center. The work includes replacement of piping on two Culligan HD 483, 48 x 60x filters due to leaks caused by galvanic corrosion. The contractor shall provide all necessary supplies, equipment, materials, labor, transportation, and personnel to complete the piping replacement. All new brass pipe and fittings must be installed to manufacturer specifications and applicable codes. The tasks include isolating and disconnecting existing piping, removing old parts, and installing new brass pipe and fittings on Domestic Water Tank #1 and #2. Work must minimize disruption to building operations, and all new piping must be pressure tested for leaks. The contractor must comply with all VA, local, state, and federal regulations, maintain safety standards, and adhere to work hours as specified. Contractor personnel may be subject to background investigations, with the contractor responsible for associated costs. Request for Information (RFI) should be submitted via email no later than 2pm PST Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026, to ositadima.ndubizu@va.gov 1.m.
