Site work for a water / sewer project in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project consists of one prime Contract bid as a Base Bid and generally includes traffic control; bypass pumping, cleaning and televising existing 30 & 36-inch sanitary sewer, installation of 30 & 36-inch CIPP UV Cure liner, testing and sealing lateral connections, manhole rehabilitation, pavement and lawn restoration, and any necessary erosion control to complete the work. Pre-construction closed circuit televising reports are available upon request. All Contractors must comply with the Contractor Qualification Ordinance of the Village of Pleasant Prairie, requiring pre-qualification of Contractors prior to performing work. All Contractor pre-qualifications must be complete and submitted 5 days prior to bid opening. Approved pre-qualifications will be posted before bid opening. All Sub-contractors used for this Contract must be identified in the bid documents under 'LIST OF SUBCONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS' and must be pre-qualified before award of the Contract. The Bidder (Prime Contractor) must perform with its own organization at least thirty percent (30%) of the total original Contract Price. Specialty items such as contractor staking, electrical work, landscaping and erosion control work, traffic control work, signing work, and pavement marking work may be excluded from the total used in calculating the self-performance requirement. The Prime Contractor must be prequalified in categories sufficient to perform the required minimum thirty percent of the Contract with its own forces. Upon request, the Bidder must provide a list of items to be self-performed for compliance evaluation. Bid Security in the amount of not less than 5% nor more than 10% of the Bid must accompany each Bid. The awarded Bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount equal to the Contract Price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities in bidding, or accept the Bid or Bids which best serve the interest of the Owner. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 50 days after opening without the Owner's consent. Question Deadline 07/23/2026 Question submitted to engineer.
