The Township of Montclair is soliciting bids for Montclair Lead Service Line Replacement Program (LSLRP) - Phase 1. The project involves the replacement of approximately 100 lead/galvanized water services throughout the Township. The addresses of the 100 services will be provided to the contractor. Restoration of all disturbed locations will also be included in the contract. The work contemplated under this Contract shall be completed on or before 90 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Final day to submit project questions will be Friday July 17, 2026 by 4:00 pm prevailing time. Bids shall be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, including the non-collusion affidavit and ownership statement compliance form, and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid and, not to exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder shall furnish and deliver to the Owner a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the accepted bid amount as security for the faithful performance and payment of the Contract. Further, the successful bidder must furnish the policies or Certificates of Insurance required by the Contract. All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of sixty (60) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids pursuant to applicable law and regulations, to waive informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept the bid from the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder.
