The WCA is seeking bids from qualified, licensed (Class A or B) and bonded contractors for construction of the Azusa Wilderness Park Project. Which consists of park gateway, trail extensions, utility installation, road improvements, grading, drainage, landscaping; and construction of park amenities such as restrooms, pavilion, trails, parking and removal of septic systems. Bid Form (Document 00 41 13) -- completed and signed Bid Bond or acceptable bid security (Document 00 43 13) -- not less than ten percent (10%) of the base bid amount REQUIRED OF APPARENT LOW BIDDER -- The following items must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days of the Notice of Award. Failure to provide any item within this period may result in forfeiture of the Bid Bond and disqualification of the Bid: Valid State of California Contractor's License, Class A or B, current and in good standing at the time of award Certificate of Workers' Compensation Insurance Certificate of Commercial General Liability Insurance -- minimum $2,000,000.00 per occurrence, with WCA named as additional insured Certificate of Automobile Liability Insurance -- minimum $1,000,000.00, with WCA named as additional insured Performance Bond -- 100% of Contract Price Payment Bond (Contractor's Labor and Material Bond) -- 100% of Contract Price Warranty and Guarantee The total contract time is 273 calendar days. Tentative construction dates will be between June 2026 and June 2027. Actual start date for the project will be given through an official notice to proceed letter. Working hours for this project will be 7:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Liquidated damages in the amount of Two Thousand Five Hundred ($2,500) per day can be assessed for this project if it is not completed within 273 calendar days from notice to proceed. Rejection of Bid. Any Bid that is in any way incomplete or irregular is subject to rejection by WCA. WCA has the right to reject all proposals, with or without extending the opportunity to any proposer to re-bid.
