The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: The Lava Hot Springs Foundation (LHSF) entrance sign and landscape project will create a new gateway feature at the intersection of Highway 30 and Maughan Road in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. The project includes the removal of existing signage, landscape elements, irrigation components, and associated site improvements to accommodate the construction of a new monument sign and enhanced entry landscape. Improvements include construction of a concrete sign base with a lava stone veneer for installation of owner-furnished signage, roadway shoulder and curb modifications, decorative rock mulch areas, landscape berms, boulder accents, site lighting, new irrigation infrastructure, and installation of drought-tolerant ornamental grasses, shrubs, and evergreen plantings. The completed project will provide a durable, lowmaintenance, and visually distinctive entrance feature that strengthens site identity and enhances the visitor experience.
