Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of May 5,2024 The project was awarded to Mickelsen Construction for $260,062.35 The Project includes the following Work: Rehabilitation of approximately 1,100 feet of 4th Avenue from the intersection of Fife Street and the southern city limit. Work includes pulverization of existing bituminous surface, grading pulverized material to a wider surface, addition and blending of road base, riprap lined ditch, new asphalt pavement, pavement striping, and other miscellaneous items to complete the work. Bid security (5%) shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of not less than 100% of the contract price. Each bidder must have a Public Works Contractors License in the State of Idaho prior to bid opening in accordance with Idaho law. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals, to waive any formality in the Bidding Documents, and to make selection to the lowest responsive, responsible, and qualified Contractor as it may best serve the interest of the Owner.
