Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Chehalis, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work includes the infill of gaps in sections of sidewalk along the northeast side of Interstate Avenue from its intersection with SW Parkland Drive southerly for approximately 600 linear feet. The project involves improving pedestrian infrastructure for uninterrupted sidewalk access. North of the Best Western Hotel, the sidewalk improvements will be detached, while south of the hotel’s southern driveway, the improvements will include curb, gutter, and attached sidewalk. The existing storm drainage will be retained, with the addition of three catch basins and storm pipe installed at the southern end of the improvements. An Inadvertent Discovery Plan is included. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract and provide a satisfactory performance bond within the specified time, the bid proposal deposit will be forfeited. Bids will not be accepted from any prospective bidder who has not purchased contract documents through QUESTCDN.
