The scope of work for Contract No. 26-R02 includes the unclassified excavation to removed existing brick and concrete curb gutters, installation of roadway subbase, installation of 19mm Superpave WMA binder course, 0 to .3 million design ESALS (3.5" depth); 1 1/2 " depth 9.5mm Superpave WMA wearing course, 0 to .3 million design ESALS, SRL-H; bituminous wedge curb; roadway profiling,; adjustment of manholes and storm inlets to grade; adjustment of valve boxes to grade; removal of existing inlets and replace with new Type M inlets, ADA Curb Cut Ramps, installation of speed humps and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. The Borough Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Proposals and to Waive Any Informalities in the Bidding. No Bid May Be Withdrawn for Ninety (90) Calendar Days After the Scheduled Time for Receipt of Bids. This Project Was Financed [in Part] by a Grant From the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority. Proposals Must Be Upon the Forms Furnished by the Borough. The Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid, Made Payable to the Borough of Verona to Guarantee the Bidders Entrance Into the Contract if Given the Award.
