Description

Renovation of a recreation facility in Qualicum Beach, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility.

The Town of Qualicum Beach invites quotations from qualified and experienced roofing contractors for the replacement of the Curling Rink roof located at 644 Memorial Avenue, Qualicum Beach, British Columbia. The Curling Rink building is attached to the Town of Qualicum Beach Community Hall; however, the scope of this Request for Quotations is limited to the Curling Rink portion of the roof only. The Work generally includes the removal and disposal of the existing asphalt shingles and underlying tar paper, and the supply and installation of a new roofing system - please refer to details outlined in Attachment 1 - Scope of Work - Terms of Reference, Curling Club Roof Replacement. Attachment 2 are photographs of the Curling Rink roof for reference. The Town is seeking a roofing product with an expected service life exceeding twenty (20) years and for the Work to be substantially completed by November 30, 2026.
