Mobilization The Contractor shall: o Obtain all required permits. Coordinate utility locates (Missouri One Call). Schedule pre-construction meeting with City. Provide temporary safety fencing, barricades, and pedestrian protection. Maintain safe access throughout construction. 2. Demolition The Contractor shall completely remove: Existing pylon sign Existing sign foundation and footing to full depth Existing electrical components no longer required Portions of paving and curbing necessary for construction Miscellaneous abandoned utilities encountered Demolition shall include: o Proper disposal of all materials o Recycling where practical. o Dust control. o Protection of adjacent improvements. o Utility coordination. Removal of all debris from the site daily. Excavations created by demolition shall be properly backfilled and compacted to prevent future settlement. 3. Earthwork Contractor shall provide: o Excavation for new foundations Compacted structural fill Fine grading Soil compaction as required by the plans Any unsuitable soils encountered shall be reported immediately to the City. 4. Concrete Foundations Construct all foundations in accordance with the structural drawings including: . Reinforced concrete footing . Reinforced foundation walls o Anchor bolts o Embedded steel Concrete pads Required reinforcing steel All concrete shall comply with project structural specifications.
