Description

Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in New York, New York. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 17,337-square-foot multi-residential development.

New York City Economic Development Corporation (“NYCEDC”), on behalf of the City of New York (the “City”), is pleased to release a request for proposals (“RFP”) seeking proposals from qualified parties (“Respondents”) for the acquisition and development of an approximately 17,337 square foot site located between East 125th Street and East 126th Street along Second Avenue in East Harlem (Block 1790, Lots 25-31) (the “Site”). B-East is the last of three development sites on the “B” block within the City-owned East 125th Street assemblage. Over the years since the 2008 ULURP approval, the East 125th Street Development has delivered new housing (including hundreds of income-restricted apartments), neighborhood retail, cultural/community space, open space, and a major health care facility nearby. B-East is intended to build on that momentum—advancing a long-anticipated redevelopment effort, delivering new housing opportunities and strengthening East Harlem’s East 125th Street corridor.
