Each Proposal Must Be Accompanied by a Deposit Equal to 5% of the Net Price Bid. This Deposit May Consist of Cash, or Bank Cashier's Check, or a 5% Bid Bond Issued by Any Insurance Company Authorized to Do Business in North Carolina. This Deposit Will Be Retained in the Event of the Failure of the Successful Bidder to Execute the Contract Within Ten (10) Days After Notice of Award or to Give Satisfactory Surety as Required. The Successful Bidder Must Furnish a Payment and Performance and Materialman's Bond From a Surety Company Authorized to Do Business in the State of North Carolina for the Full Amount of the Contract Price Prior to Execution of Project Contract.
