The proposed construction will consist of the interior build-out of an existing shelled space. The scope of work includes seven (7) offices, one (1) conference room, one (1) simulator room, one (1) taser training room, corridors, and associated support spaces within an approximately 3,400 square foot area. The work includes new partitions, finishes, and all associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Each bid shall be accompanied by the deposit of an acceptable certified check or cashier's check payable to the Board of Commissioners of Hendricks County, Indiana or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved surety company in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond with good and sufficient surety in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid; a payment bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid; a maintenance bond for a period of one (1) year after completion of the project equal to twenty percent (20%) of the bid; and proof of insurance as specified in the General Provisions. The Board of Commissioners of Hendricks County, Indiana reserves the right to reject any/or all of the bids and/or waive any formalities or irregularities in the bidding.
