Site work and paving for a road / highway in Danville, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work consists of bituminous resurfacing and related activities for approximately 14.14 miles of County roads as specified in the Plans and Specifications. All materials, equipment, and labor are to be furnished as indicated in the Specifications. Any and all permits must be procured by the successful bidder. Bids must be properly and completely executed on the required forms and include the Non-Collusion Affidavit. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or a satisfactory bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each equal to the total bid amount, and a maintenance bond for one year after completion equal to twenty percent of the bid, as well as proof of insurance. Bidders may not withdraw their bids for sixty days after opening. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any formalities or irregularities in the bidding process.
