Bids are being solicited for the furnishing and installation of all labor, materials, permits, equipment, tools, supplies, and related appurtenant construction for the Community Centre Improvements Project. The base bid includes First Floor Lobby Drop Ceiling Replacement (1 LS), installation of 2'x4' Grid Ceiling Light Fixtures (12 EA), and Light Switch Replacement (1 EA). Alternate A includes Basement Lobby Drop Ceiling Replacement (1 LS) and replacement of 2'x4' Grid Ceiling Light Fixtures (4 EA). Contractors and subcontractors must pay prevailing wage rates as established by the Federal Department of Labor. Contractors must obtain minority-owned businesses for 20 percent and women-owned businesses for 5 percent of the construction contract amount. A certified check or bid bond of at least five percent of the bid must be submitted as a guarantee. Successful bidders must furnish a satisfactory performance bond equal to the contract amount. All bids must be prepared as described in the Instructions to Bidders and submitted electronically through QuestCDN.com; no paper bids will be accepted.
