The work on S. 49th Street includes restoration, traffic control, erosion and dust control, pavement sawing, milling pavement, concrete base repair, driveway pavement removal, concrete curb and gutter removal and installation, dense graded base, concrete driveway, bituminous concrete surface, manhole adjustment, storm inlet adjustment and rehabilitation, valve adjustment, sanitary and storm sewer spot repairs, storm CIPP sectional liners, lighting unit and wiring removal, street lighting installation, electrical wiring for lighting, installation of speed humps and associated pavement markings, and installation of signs and posts. Alternate work includes similar improvements for 48th-49th Street Alley (Alternate A), 45th Street Alley (Alternate B), and Miller Park Way (Alternate C), with scopes varying in quantities and components described in detail. Bidders must submit bids electronically, accompanied by the required bid security, and must complete all bid form blanks for acceptance. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities not involving price, time or changes in the work, and to accept the bid that best serves the Village's interests.
