The City of West Allis is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for street reconstruction for 2026 Project No. 7. The streets involved in this project are S. 78th St. from W. Beloit Rd. to W. Arthur Ave., S. 88th St. from W. Cleveland Ave. to W. Montana Ave., and S. 88th St. from W. Maple St. to W. South 78th Street is partially funded by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP). Qualified contractors shall submit a complete bid through Quest. No bid will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond equal to at least 5 percent of the bid payable to the City of West Allis, as a guarantee that the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 10 days after the award of the contract. The West Allis Board of Public Works reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in bidding.
