Renovation of a conference / convention center in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.

Modernization of Building 753 Conference Room at Pope Army Airfield. Commercial construction services are required to renovate and modernize the conference room in accordance with the project requirements, specifications, drawings, and attachments. The requirement will be awarded as a single firm-fixed-price purchase order using Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 12 and Part 36 procedures. The effort is being competitively solicited as a 100% small business set-aside, and the contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and related construction services necessary to complete the modernization work. The scope of work of this contract includes, but it not limited to the following specific items of work:a. Architectural: A. Contractor shall be responsible for moving and/or the disassembly of any furniture necessary to complete all work in the conference room space. B. Contractor shall demolish all wallpaper and cove base. C. Contractor shall repair all defects in drywall and level 5 finish on all wall surfaces D. Contractor shall demolish and remove all carpeting in the Conference room E. Contractor shall apply primer and two layers of paint. Painted surface must be uniform in color and texture appearance. F. Contractor shall install cove base of complimentary color IAW manufacturers specifications. G. Contractor shall install 24X24 carpet square in space IAW installation design guide, throughout the whole conference room. H. Contractor shall remove old ceiling tiles and replace all ceiling tiles with beveled edge ceiling tile IAW Fort Bragg IDG. I. Three Television displays which shall be provided by contractor and be 85-86 inches in common size, 4 k resolution or greater; with a service contract from local source, submittal required before purchase. Contractor shall install 50 Fiber optic HDMI cords (3) above drop ceiling to all televisions from Audio Visual (AV) stand at front of the room. Contractor shall ensure there are no sharp bends or pinches in cabling. Contractor shall provide wall mount. Display shall be mounted 6 inches below drop ceiling. Wall mount shall be fully articulable and be able to support a 120-inch television display, submittal shall be approved before purchase Displays shall be mounted symmetrically on the wall with no gap between them when fully retracted to the wall. Wall mounts shall go into studs on the wall . Drywall anchors,-expanders or any device intended to use the drywall to support the weight of the television shall not be used. All displays shall be of same size, brand, model and color to be approved by customer. Old displays shall be removed by contractor and retained by customer undamaged for reutilization. J. Contractor shall remove and retain decorative window from the rear of the room. Contractor shall install studs and drywall to match current wall on both sides of the wall section. K. Contractor shall return and reassemble the furniture to the original configuration at the completion of the project. b. Electrical: A. All switches and outlets shall be decor style of face plate. B. Contractor shall demolish and replace all fluorescent lights with dimmable 2'x4' LED 1900 lumens minimum panel IAW Fort Bragg requirements. C. Contractor Shall demolish and replace all recessed lights with; dimmable, 4-inch Round, flush mounted LED Lights. D. Contractor shall replace light switches, outlets and faceplates in the space in kind. Light switches shall be compatible with dimmable LED lights . All switches, outlets and faceplates shall be same color approved by customer. E. Relocate duplex outlet under TV to location that will be behind new flat screens when mounted. c. General A. The government referenced details indicate the general extent of the work. The references are not intended to indicate or describe all work required for the full performance and completion of the requirements of the job. B. The contractor will procure all equipment and necessary items to complete the installation of all equipment needed to meet the design they have engineered. The contractor must also perform operational checks on all equipment installed. All cables shall be routed with a structured and orderly manner as well as secured within support hardware i.e. J-hooks and Cable trays. All calculating must be approved by 43 CS SCOI, 43 CS SCOS-S, Ft Bragg NEC and USAF TEMPEST regulations. C. The contractor shall comply with all base installation standards as well as all commercial codes and standards to include but not limited to the references in Table 1. The contractor shall be familiar with appropriate Commercial/Military/Local Installation Standards. Installation tasks shall be performed in accordance with the appropriate installation standards and practices. D. All VTC over IP architecture is determined by the VTC DISA Architecture and the DISA VTC Approved Products List (APL). All VTC system components must be JITC certified and verified by current US Army Ft Bragg NEC owners. The contractor shall furnish all Architecture and Engineering services, labor, material, equipment, incidentals, supervision, and transportation for work necessary to complete the modernization of the conference room in building 753. All work shall be completed in 30 calendar days. All work shall be performed in accordance with the contract specifications, manufacturer's recommendations, and UFC 1-200-01 and UFC 1-200-02. Work performed under this purchase order shall comply with the latest edition of all required publications, Federal, Department of the Army, State of North Carolina, and Fort Bragg construction safety and environmental protection laws , regulations, rules, and codes (i.e. American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), ASTM International (ASTM), U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), etc. ) and the Fort Bragg Installation Design Guide (IDG), dated at the time of the purchase order award. When a required publication is not specifically referenced in the contract, the contractor shall utilize one that has national applications. Where conflicts arise between publications, the most stringent requirements shall apply.
