Non-personal services to provide comprehensive grounds and airfield maintenance in support of safe and continuous mission operations. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform recurring grass cutting, vegetation control, and groundskeeping across approximately 3,207 acres. Services are divided into airfield maintenance and training area and range maintenance, each with distinct performance standards. Airfield maintenance includes all designated runways, taxiways, infields, and associated areas and is critical to mitigating the Bird/Wildlife Aircraft Strike Hazard (BASH) and ensuring safe aviation operations. Training area and range maintenance includes all specified ranges, impact areas, and support facilities to ensure they remain safe, accessible, and suitable for troop training and maneuver activities. Grass height on airfields must be maintained strictly between 6 and 12 inches to prevent wildlife nesting and foraging, while grass height in ranges and training areas must not exceed 6 inches to support visibility, reduce fire hazards, and enable effective training.
