Description

Site work and new construction of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Arborg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the construction of a 52,073-square-foot, one-story above grade elderly care / assisted living facility; 10,742-square-foot, one-story above grade elderly care / assisted living facility; and for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility.

Tender Package 2 (TP-2) includes the superstructure and site works. This includes all Architectural, Structural, Fire Protection, Mechanical, Electrical, and Landscaping scopes. Construction of a new 63,290 ft2 wood framed Personal Care Home (Bldg. A) and connected support services building (Bldg. B). Most of the foundation scopes have already been tendered in TP-1. The TP-1 Foundation package included most scopes up to the main floor. Work included was the site demolition, excavation/backfill of the building, site rough grading, piles, pile caps, grade beams, hollowcore planks, and structural steel and metals up to the main floor elevation.
