Construction of a new Northeast Police District Station facility. Set-asides: 30% MBE, 11% WBE. The proposed Baltimore Police Department (BPD) Northeast District Station is a five-story building, with the primary structure of the first four levels constructed of concrete and the fifth level constructed of steel. The ground-level program includes the main lobby, a community room for public use, evidence processing areas, and the first tier of the parking structure. The parking structure spans the second, third , and fourth levels and is an open, naturally ventilated facility that does not require mechanical ventilation. The frontage of the third and fourth floors consists of limited occupied space largely related to fitness functions. The fifth level houses administrative and support spaces , including offices, meeting rooms, locker rooms, and break rooms. The project involves site improvements around the building, with stormwater management areas, surface parking, and pedestrian paving. The design remains subject to change pending further community input meetings and final comments from the Baltimore City UDAAP process. The project is located at 4701 Sinclair Lane, Baltimore, Maryland 21206. The new facility is envisioned to be a multi-story facility and approximately 146,000 GSF (Inclusive of structured parking).
