Question Submission Deadline:August 12, 2026, 10:00am SCOPE OF WORK The contractor shall schedule a Pre-Construction Conference with the County and the Engineer as soon as practical after the award and receipt of the finalized contract documents for the project. The contractor shall provide a written narrative schedule at least two days prior to the Pre-Construction Conference in accordance with Standard Specifications Section 108.02 detailing but not limited to, specifying the designer and fabricator of the pre-fab bridge truss and the timeframes for design, breaking ground and completion of the project. Work shall be performed in a manner that minimizes impact to the park and walking trails, as much as possible. After the contractor has selected a bridge fabricator/designer and obtained a delivery commitment date letter, the contractor shall notify the Engineer in writing of the date they intend to mobilize and close path access across the existing bridge. The contractor may begin work once this date has been submitted and approved. Then, the contractor shall have 120 days from actual mobilization and closure of the path to complete the project. The contractor shall also meet the November 1 , 2027, calendar date of completion. The bridge shall not be re-opened to the public until a substantial completion inspection, and all public safety items have been completed
