Removal and replacement of damaged curbing and asphalt across campus and exterior lots. All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 08/06/2026 at 12:00 PM EDT for general bids. Job Shall include the following: Work to be completed by: September 30th, 2026. Springfield Technical Community College is requesting for the repairs and replacement of damaged curbs and asphalt within the Main Campus, Lot 1 , Lot 2. See attached details. Scope: h. Provide all labor, equipment, material and disposal for the repairs of concrete or granite curbing and asphalt surface repairs as identified within. i. The scope of work shall consist in the following repairs: a. Curbs: i. Concrete curbs shall be replaced entirely with new material. ii. Undamaged granite curbs maybe reutilized. iii. Damaged granite curbs shall be replaced entirely with new material iv. Cut approx..12" of asphalt surface to permit for new concrete backer. Cuts shall be uniform, straight and consistent. v. Curbs shall be installed to match the existing outline (contour) and plumb. Edges shall meet existing edges abutting repaired section. vi. Curbs shall be backed with concrete as illustrated within the Typical Details. vii . Hot Asphalt shall be utilized to patch as illustrated within the Typical Details. viii. Asphalt edges shall be sealed with hot rubber crack sealer. b. Main Campus: i. Repair granite curbing at (6) location. C. Lot 1 : i. Repair concrete curb at (1) location. d. Lot 2: i. Repair concrete curb in (9) locations i. Identify area of repair and outline edges to be square, perpendicular, parallel to one another prior to cutting and removal. ii. Verify base and make necessary adjustments. Hand Tamper\Compaction plates shall be utilized. iii. Asphalt shall be patched as illustrated within the Typical Details. iv.
