Description

Site work for a power facility in Marblehead, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility.

Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Question Deadline 08/12/2026 Every question regarding the Contract Documents or request for interpretation of the Contract Documents should be submitted via the Procurement Portal and to be given consideration must be received at least seven days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Marblehead Municipal Light Department (MMLD) maintains a 13kV express line that connects its Village and Beacon substations . This project aims to replace approximately 13,000 feet of open wire construction with new conductor in a spacer cable configuration. Additionally, nine poles will require replacement, including guying. Poles must be set within a 3-foot radius of their current position, via a side-set or cut-and-kick replacement. Currently, there is a 4kV distribution circuit above the existing 13kV express circuit that will also be considered for replacement as part of this scope of work
