Demolition, site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Temple, Georgia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

Demolition of existing structures and construction of a new covered pavilion, including site preparation, installation of an ADA ramp, a retaining wall with rails, new concrete stairs with a handrail, and the installation of a pre-made storage building. The project generally consists of the construction of Phase II improvements at Union Park, including pavilion construction and associated site improvements. The work shall include all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the project in accordance with the Contract Documents, plans, specifications, and applicable codes and requirements. Project Location: Union Park 1033 GA-101Temple, GA 30179 Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted through the Bonfire Portal no later than 10:00 a.m. on August 21, 2026. Questions submitted after this deadline may not be considered. Work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, permits, and materials necessary for the demolition of existing structures and the construction of a new 20 x 50 ft covered pavilion, 12 x 12ft electrical building/storage area and associated improvements, including a new ADA ramp with handrails, a retaining wall , and new concrete stairs with a handrail . The contractor shall follow the drawings associated with the project, and any deviation shall be discussed with the County before any work is completed. The County requests that this be an itemized outline from the contractor and that work will be completed within the agreed-upon timeline to accommodate the activities at the ballfield, and that they shall not interfere with public access. Demolition Phase The vendor shall: Completely demolish and remove the existing restroom facility next to the ballfields, the concession stand, which includes the current electrical building, and the stairs, including all materials. Demolish the existing covered seating pavilion and rebuild it following pre-approved plans. The vendor will coordinate with Carroll EMC to relocate the existing electrical for the ballfields, scoreboard, and power for the new pavilion and electrical room. This will include running underground service to the new electrical room via conduit and according to the provided plans. Remove and cap plumbing and any remaining electrical components associated with the restroom, including the underlying concrete pad. Demolish and properly remove the existing septic tank and field lines serving the old bathroom . Remove adjacent railroad ties near the demolished structures. Coordinate with Carroll EMC to ensure safe disconnection of power to ALL buildings before demolition. o Demolish the building at the entrance to the park, the pad, and the electrical and plumbing systems associated with it, to include the nearby storage shed. Remove the concrete stairs leading to the old concession stand and prepare the area for replacement at the agreed-upon location. o Demolish the existing concrete retaining wall under the pavilion. o Remove the existing power pole near the upper building by the road that is being demolished.
