Architectural design services for the remodel and tenant improvement of an existing 3,000 sq ft building into an EMS station, including two ambulance bays, crew sleeping quarters, kitchen, and day room. Scope includes existing conditions assessment, site plan design, permitting support for Conditional Use Permit, and construction administration. The project consists of interior renovation and limited site work to convert the existing building into a fully functional EMS station, including two ambulance bays, crew sleeping quarters, and supporting facilities. The building will be permitted and designed to meet R -1 occupancy requirements, and the project will include a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) application to allow temporary, shiftbased overnight crew stays which the Owner is pursuing. The selected firm will work collaboratively with KCEMS, its owner's representative, applicable regulatory agencies, and other project stakeholders. The selected architect will provide full design services through construction, including but not limited to: . Existing conditions assessment and building code analysis (R-1 occupancy) Schematic design, design development, and construction documents Interior renovation design for: two (2) ambulance bays, full restroom with shower, two (2) bunk rooms, kitchen, and day room .
