The Project is located throughout the Town of Los Gatos and involves the treatment of 22.3 miles of roadway within the high and very high fire hazard severity zones, as described in Attachment B, incorporated herein. As further specified in Section 5.4 of the General Conditions, if Contractor fails to complete the Work within the Contract Time, Town will assess liquidated damages in the amount of $200 per day for each day of unexcused delay in achieving Final Completion, and such liquidated damages may be deducted from Town's payments due or to become due to Contractor under this Contract. Question Deadline 08/26/2026 at 2:00 PM PT Questions or requests for clarifications regarding the Project, the bid procedures, or any of the Contract Documents must be submitted through electronically. This Project requires a valid California contractor's license for the following classification(s): D-49. The Bid Proposal must be accompanied by bid security of ten percent of the maximum bid amount, in the form of a cashier's or certified check made payable to Town, or a bid bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California on the Bid Bond form included with the Contract Documents. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the Contract Price, as further specified in the Contract Documents.
