Renovation of a military facility in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and related services necessary for the complete demolition and replacement of the existing machine-room-less (MRL) elevator, including all associated equipment and supporting structures. Record drawings from the most recent renovation and elevator repair work will be provided. The replacement elevator shall be a fully non-proprietary system to ensure future maintenance and repair services can be performed by any qualified elevator technician without reliance on proprietary manufacturer support. The new elevator shall be installed as a hydraulic, holeless, roped, single-jack, cantilever passenger elevator with a 4,500-pound capacity. The elevator shall provide three front openings, 24 feet 3 inches of travel, and an operating speed of 100 feet per minute. All work shall comply with ANSI A17.1-2016 requirements and all applicable industry standards, codes, and regulations.
