This project consists of a Base Bid and five (5) Additive Alternates, which may be awarded at the sole discretion of the Authority. Additive Alternate No. 1 , Additive Alternate No. 2, and Additive Alternate No. 3 Work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the removal , replacement, and installation of HVAC equipment serving Hangar 2 at Wilmington Airport. Additive Alternate No. 4 Work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials , and equipment necessary for the installation of Ventilation Systems in Hangar Bay 2A. Work will include, but is not limited to, removing abandoned equipment, installation of exhaust fans, installation of roof vents, installation of HVAC equipment, and new circuitry for the new HVAC equipment. Additive Alternative No. 5 Work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation of Ventilation Systems in Hangar Bay 2B. Work will include, but is not limited to, removing abandoned equipment, installation of exhaust fans, installation of roof vents, installation of HVAC equipment, and new circuitry for the new HVAC equipment. The Contractor is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required construction permits, including building construction permits for the project prior to construction through issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy. No less than ten (10) business days prior to the permits becoming necessary for the project work, the Contractor shall request hard copy plans for permitting purposes from the design engineer and architect (i.e., the bid set of plans), who will send the plans to the Contractor via UPS.
