Description

Provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and resources necessary to perform snow removal and ice control services at the Pittsburgh Engineer Warehouse and Repair Station (PEWARS) and the West View COOP Site. Services include snow and ice removal, pretreatment prior to anticipated winter weather events, application of approved deicing materials, and relocation of removed snow to designated on-site snow placement areas. Work encompasses roadways, parking areas, sidewalks, loading docks, exterior stairs, building entrances, emergency exits, accessible ramps, fire hydrant access areas, and other designated locations. The contractor shall maintain sufficient personnel and equipment to respond to snow and ice events and provide continuous operations, when required, until all designated areas meet the Government's snow and ice removal requirements. Services are anticipated during the winter season from October through April and may be ordered under a contract structure that includes a one-year base period with up to four one-year option periods. Location: Pittsburgh Engineer Warehouse and Repair Station (PEWARS), Neville Island, PA 15225; and West View COOP Site, West View, PA 15229.
