The Town of Plainville, Connecticut (Town) (population approximately 17,500), is soliciting proposals from qualified Contractors/Firms to perform town-wide environmental engineering consulting services, including Industrial Stormwater Permit administration and monitoring, (Building and Grounds Facility, Former Town Landfill and Roadway Facility and Water Pollution Control Facility), MS4 Permit administration and sampling, Landfill Stewardship and RICA Permit administration and monitoring along with other tasks related to environmental engineering assignments. The selected firm will be expected to work closely with the Town Managers Office, Engineering, Building and Grounds, Roadways, and Water Pollution Departments in the implementation of programs and tasks which are required by the Federal Environmental Protection Agency and the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. Additionally, said professional environmental engineer or Licensed Environmental Professional may be requested to evaluate and provide recommendations regarding environmental issues that may arise from proposed Town activities and inquiries raised by residents.
