All work must be performed in accordance with NBDTI Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, Item 259 Bituminous Tack Coat and shall adhere to the following: Application of bituminous tack coat shall ensure coverage extends a minimum 150 mm past the anticipated edge of asphalt for all longitudinal joints. Overlap in the application of bituminous tack coat shall not be measured for payment. Non-tracking emulsion (Dilute) shall be applied at a minimum rate of 0.40 L/m2. Non-tracking emulsion (Concentrate) shall be applied at a minimum rate of 0.24 L/m2 Supply and installation of WMA-D, at a thickness of 40 mm. WMA-D is to be placed at a rate of 0.09 t/m2. Supply and installation of WMA-B, work category 3, varying thickness. WMA-B is to be placed at a rate of 0.24 t/m2. Lifts shall be no thicker than 100 mm. All work must be performed in accordance with Village of Memramcook Standard Municipal Specifications. Blend into existing driveways, parking areas, and streets. Restoration of project site to original condition or better. Testing, commissioning, and start-up of the system. Supply of all shop drawings. The system shall be delivered as a complete and fully functional installation. The Contractor shall satisfy themselves as to existing site conditions, project requirements, and system requirements necessary to complete the work prior to submitting their tender.
