Planning, financing, development, construction, and operation of a recreational vehicle, boat, and trailer storage facility on leased City property. The site consists of approximately 4.78 acres of land with a gentle S-SE slope facing Veterans Memorial Drive. The site is located at the NW corner of the intersection of Veterans Memorial Drive at Yucca Street. Immediately adjacent to the northwest boundary is a flood control channel, and north of the channel is the City's Animal Control facility. An additional flood control channel also runs along the southern property line adjacent to Veterans Memorial Parkway. Any access over this channel requires the installation of a box culvert crossing at the expense of the developer. Also along the northwest boundary runs a high voltage transmission line operated by Southern California Edison. A map of this area is attached.
